Being healthy doesn’t have to be hard. But trying to get there can be scary.

No one wants to walk through a dark forest alone… That’s where I come in!

As an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, I am committed to providing a supportive health coaching experience where you can begin your journey toward greater health and wellness, and not have to travel alone.

Together, we work to discover your unique “map” for navigating through that dark forest of confusing information about food, exercise, lifestyle changes, etc., so you can grow in health, strength and happiness!

Throughout my education, I have learned about exciting cutting-edge dietary theories and studied highly effective coaching techniques that will help you find the right lifestyle changes that will work best for you.

No one diet works for everyone. Instead of creating lists of restrictions and good and bad foods, I coach my clients on how to explore and implement gradual, healthy lifestyle changes during our work together. My clients find that these changes create lasting improvements in their health, often resulting in weight loss and an overall sense of vitality and wellness! Resulting in a BRAND NEW YOU!

An Integrative Nutrition Health Coach is a guide and mentor who educates, encourages and empowers you to become the very best version of yourself, in your body, soul and spirit.

As your Health Coach, I will listen carefully, help you to navigate the world of contradictory nutrition and health advice as you explore what truly works for you. I will personally and carefully guide you to make simple, small changes that transform your life, and provide ongoing support and guidance as you set goals and make sustainable changes that improve your health and happiness.

Together we will:

  • Connect the dots between where you are and where you want to be
  • Create your unique, personal blueprint
  • Decipher your body’s unique needs
  • Set your personal goals and work towards lasting and sustainable change

My Approach

Riding BikesWhat sets me apart from typical dietitians and nutritionists is that I divide “FOOD” into two categories: Primary Food and Secondary Food.

Secondary Food is everything on your plate – everything you eat, drink, ingest.

Primary Food is everything else in your life – your relationships, career, self-care, home environment, spiritual life, etc..

Your Primary Food affects your Secondary Food: you’re stressed so you overeat those comfort foods!

Your Secondary Food affects your Primary Food: because you overate those comfort foods you feel tired, sluggish and skip your workout!

I practice this holistic approach to health and wellness, looking at how all of the areas of your life are connected. Does stress at your job or in your relationships cause you to overeat? Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising? As we work together, we will look at how all parts of your life affect your health as a whole.

I help my clients to get in touch with their body’s unique needs, understanding that life is unpredictable, and your needs will often change. I help equip you with the self-awareness to make the best decision for yourself in any given circumstance. I believe that each person is the “expert” on their own body, not the latest magazine article or fad diet book.

As your coach, I will not give you a diet to follow, but rather, together we will explore why some foods make you feel better than others and how to strategically use that feedback. Together we’ll co-create your health goals with reasonable time frames and actionable objectives, so you know exactly what you’re working toward and how.

Hi! My name is Kathy Anderson. I’m a whole-hearted Christ Follower, and I love helping others and making a difference in their lives. I’m madly in love with Dan, my husband of over 35 years. Together, we have three amazing grown children, two incredible daughters-in-law, one incredible son-in-law, and four adorable grand-kiddos!

My passion is serving women of all ages on their health and wellness journey as they become the very best versions of themselves, in body, soul and spirit!

I believe that anyone can become healthier, stronger and happier, if they’re willing to work for it. I don’t live a perfect life, and I don’t expect my clients to either… But taking small steps toward greater health and wellness will result in great rewards. I would love to be on your team and get you there!

Outside of my regular Health Coaching business, I serve as a health coach at North Star Initiative (www.northstarinitiative.org), a safe-house for girls who have been rescued out of sex trafficking. I get to help these incredible survivors learn to love and care for their bodies again.

20% of all proceeds is donated to charity, including North Star Initiative.

My Training

I graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where I studied under some of the world’s top health and wellness experts. I learned innovative coaching methods, practical lifestyle management techniques, and over 100 dietary theories –gluten-free, Paleo, raw, vegan, and everything in between.

My education has equipped me with extensive, cutting-edge knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, fitness, lifestyle enhancement, and prevention. I work with my clients to help make living a healthy lifestyle a lifelong habit, which produces real and lasting results. You will develop a deeper understanding of food and lifestyle choices that work best for you, resulting in improved energy, balance, health, and happiness.

Each session will leave you feeling inspired and motivated, as we discuss not only food, but also the process of bringing balance to important elements of your life such as relationships, joy, career, etc.
